Q1. Do I definitely need IVF or can simpler treatments work?
Not everyone needs IVF. We always start with a thorough fertility workup for both partners. Depending on results, we may recommend IUI, ovulation induction, or lifestyle changes first. IVF is recommended when simpler options have not worked or when the clinical picture clearly indicates it.
Q2. What is the difference between IVF, ICSI and IMSI?
In standard IVF, sperm and eggs are placed together to fertilise naturally. ICSI involves injecting a single selected sperm directly into the egg. IMSI uses very high magnification to select the best quality sperm before injection, improving success in male factor infertility cases.
Q3. How many IVF cycles will I need?
Most couples achieve pregnancy within 1–3 cycles. We are honest with you from the start about your realistic chances, and we never recommend more cycles than medically necessary.
Q4. What are the benefits of 3D Laparoscopy over regular laparoscopy?
The Aesculap Einstein Vision 3.0 gives Dr. Shrikant a magnified, three-dimensional view — allowing far greater precision. This means less blood loss, smaller incisions, faster recovery and much lower
risk of complications, especially for complex surgeries.
Q5. Can I freeze my eggs for future use?
Yes. Egg freezing using ultra-rapid vitrification at -196°C is available at Ovabliss IVF Centre. The eggs can be stored for years and used when you are ready.
